Men, take note ... a dude that uses the expression "yowza," is a tool in my book. :) Would you believe I was out last night chatting it up with a guy at the bar and he actually responded to something I said with, "YOWZA." Yeah, that's totally a took-like thing to say.
There is so much to love about Sundays. I spent the morning recovering from last night which was TOO much fun. SoCo shots kick my butt. If we're ever out and you wanna do a shot, let's stick to lemon drops, thanks! Sundays are also my favorite day to indulge in my guilty pleasures ... Target, Panera, and Lifetime Movies. Is anyone else completely in love with the new and improved Lifetime Movie Network? No wonder I get nervous walking into my apartment alone at night, these movies portray some weak woman always getting attacked! I never feared living alone until I started watching Lifetime movie marathons. Now I look around every corner the second I get home ... scoping out the whole scene like there's going to be some psycho behind my shower curtain waiting for me. I wouldn't give it up for anything though. I've lived alone for years and it's bittersweet sometimes, but most times it's my happy place. I can leave it a mess, clean when I want, blast Linkin Park all night long, (my roomie in college hated all music that wasn't hip hop) and I can come home and not have to talk and rehash the whole day. That's so annoying to me. The whole customary "hey how was your day?" You can't just say, "good!" and move on. You always have to rehash.
... a new episode of Army Wives is on tonight! God that show makes me want to find myself a man in uniform so I can live with hopes of being an army wife. Geez, most people find it hard enough to picture me ever married, forget army life ... I don't know if I'm cut out for either. Going back now to loving my Sunday. GO RED SOX. I love Jon Lester ... maybe i'll marry him and have sweet tickets to the Red Sox for the rest of my life. Hmm... a girl can dream, can't she?
