11.18.08 Too many blasts from the past for ONE day!

I don't know what it was about yesterday, but PEOPLE and MUSIC just started coming out of the wood work. Wow, I can't believe I just used that expression. I guess the saying is true, "you don't know what you got until it's gone." Yesterday proved that one totally true, but not for me, for them. Would you believe that two of my former boyfriends (I hate the term "ex") contacted me being all mushy and giving me the whole "I miss you" crap. Not one, but two ... in the same day. I'm sorry, but that's freakishly ironic. Then, I turn on the tv ... and 2 songs that mean a lot to me, were in the background of a movie and a show I flipped on. Next thing you know, I logged onto myspace and had a message from a friend I haven't talked to in YEARS, maybe even a decade. We went to summer camp together and all of a sudden she's in my inbox. I don't know what it was about 11.17.08, but it was a very weird day for me. It's funny because as I was getting texts from the former boyfriends I was literally laughing out loud. Why today? Why now, months later. Years later for the other one. What was so special about today, a Monday. Were they just bored? Probably. I'm over it. What a day though.
I'm still on a Hinder High after the show on Saturday. I'm in LOVE with their new cd! If you don't have it, go to their myspace and listen to "Thing for you." I LOVE IT. Also, the title track "Take it to the limit," the shrinking dude from Motley Crue, Mick Mars, is on it.
