7.15.08 Living Life to the Fullest... Skydiving!

I'm guilty of it and you probably are too. We are all so eager to dish out advice, but we can't take our own. We live in a "quotey" and philisophical society, but it's all words ... who really lives each day like it's their last ? Who really lives life to it's fullest? I know i've been saying those things since high school and until now ... it's all been words. When you really live each day like it's your last, you're constantly communicating in a positive and appreciative way. Recently I started calling ALL of my best friends daily ... how else are they supposed to know how much I appreciate having them in my life? We'd go weeks without talking and we'd use the excuse that we've been sooo busy, but how busy are we really? We spend lots of the time in our cars, on myspace, wasting time.

It took a substantial group of "life experiences" for me to realize HOW to practice what I preach ... and really live the way I've always claimed to. For the first time, I actually took my own advice. I'm great with advice ... when i'm giving it to other people. I break everything down and I'm realistic ... while staying optimistic ... although every boyfriend in my past called me an idealist ... it's called being REAL and RATIONAL ... so screw them! :) So, like I said, i'm great with advice when it's for someone else ... but I recently took my own advice, but the worst kind, relationship advice. I decided people who can't take their own advice don't have ANY business dishing any out ... especially unsolicited.  Honestly, I need to start doing it more often. Trusting my instinct. Overcoming other people's misperceptions. Just going with it, taking the advice I would give someone else, and running with it. To be real, I feel totally centered and free.

Next on my list ... LIVING EACH DAY TO THE FULLEST ... SKYDIVING!  I've always SAID I wanted to do it, so what am I waiting for? I'm jumping out of an airplane this week. I have HIGH expectations when it comes to this ... i'm anticipating this OUT OF BODY life experience and a sense of weightlessness. I hope i'm not hyping it up too much, but I think THIS will be the turning point in my life of living! :)

...should some freak accident happen... ahhh ... nothing will happen ... but just in case ... xo
