What a great weekend! The weather was gorgeous and nothing beats a good concert. I spent Friday night at a few different spots in Scranton and met tons of awesome people. I don't go that way very often, so it's nice to go out and not run into everyone you know and see all the time. Saturday was Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick. I'm not a hard-core fan of any of them, but I love concerts and most of my friends were going, so I did too. What a great show! ... it could have helped that I was totally hydrated with lovely Coors light beverages the whole night, but still, a great night!
... I spent Sunday not feeling so hot (obviously after 2 nights of fun fun fun) ... no really, just had a sore throat. I bummed around running errands and shopping yesterday, but someone please explain this to me. Some people are just so odd and it actually bothers me how strange people can act. I was at a store, made some unnecessary purchases, and was on my way out the door, behind another customer, a man. (I'm not going to lie, the weirdos are usually men, but that's a whole other story) So i'm behind him leaving the store, but rather than just PUSHING THE FREAKIN DOOR OPEN, he stops, waits, and HITS the HANDICAPPED button, and then WAITS FOR THE DOOR TO AUTOMATICALLY OPEN. I don't know why this bothered me so bad, but it did. HE WAS PERFECTLY fine and well enough to PUSH the door open and walk out, but nooooo, he HAD to push the button. It's like a little kid HAVING to touch everything...except a grown man who was IN MY WAY.
... Welcome to my life and the way my mind works. I thought about that man pushing the button all night and well into the morning as I sit here typing out my weekend. Just annoying. So lazy. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. |
