8.21.08 Saving Freakin Abel

Whoooooooooooooooa! It's no secret I was a little excited about Saving Abel coming to the studio and their show at Penn's Peak last night. Ok, maybe not a little excited. WICKED FREAKIN PUMPED is more like it. I first heard them in January and I was hooked ever since. Their sound just gets me and when it's live... ooooooh there's just nothing better than hearing the music you love, LIVE. The guys were soo cool in studio and it's so amazing to watch them transform into rockstars the second they hit the stage. What a group of great guys though. Great performers, funny dudes, and totally respectful. I think that's the southern charm in them. :) If you don't have their cd yet, GO GET IT. I promise you, you will love it. If you like their hit "Addicted," you'll love the rest too.
Last night was my first time at Penn's Peak and I can not WAIT to go back. What a great place to see a show! Ok, so the sticky floors got a little annoying and having to actually make an EFFORT to lift your foot off the floor got obnoxious, but whatever, we've all spilt a drink before, right? Speaking of spilling drinks... I saw atleast 5 girls actually SPILL and entire full cup of whatever they were drinking. It just falls out of your hand? It's one thing to splatter a litte, but dropping the WHOLE cup? Control yourself, really!
Here are some pics from the show! Yesss... I ended up hanging out with the guitar player that I have a stupid rockstar crush on! He was so sweet and we all had a sick time. I think they might be jumping on a tour with Seether this fall and a different one with Shinedown, so if you get the chance, GO SEE THEM!
