8.27.08 For the LOVE of HILLARY!

She gave me chills. My eyes welled up with tears. I've never heard her speak like that before, she never moved me like she did last night. I wasn't a Hillary fan before, but I sure am now. She really held her head high and spoke from the heart. Not to mention ... she wore an orange pant suit, just like I guessed! She even made fun of herself and her pant suits. She's really something now that she's not fighting the ticket. I knew she wouldn't be conceited enough to wear the red one. Go Hillary. United we stand and conquer! What a speech. Really moving... although it really kills me how divided we are politically, I really just have an appreciation and respect for people who speak up for the masses and communities who support them.
Last night was girls night, but I raced home to watch Hillary speak ... while flipping back and forth to sportscenter and see replays of the Red Sox kicking some Yankee butt of course! God, I love this country. What's better than a night of Margaritas with friends, baseball, and inspiring, forward thinking speeches? Yup, nothing.
