Today is TATTOO Day! I'm finally a little nervous about it. I haven't thought much about the pain i'm going to endure, until now... or the fact that we have to do a SHOW while i'm being burned, poked, and pricked by an inky needle. Ahh. This morning when I checked my email, I had 7 different emails from people telling me not to get a tattoo because it will ruin the way I look in a wedding dress. What kind of sense does that make? I'm getting it because it means something to me, it fits me, and it's JUST a tattoo. What does that have to do with getting married? Anyways ... I don't see that happening any time soon! :) I do appreciate all of the feedback, but i'm doing it, today is the day, and i'm really excited. Or anxious. Or maybe this is fear? Nah, not fear, just anticipation? Whatever!


This is going to be quite the eventful weekend. I haven't really had time to map it all out, but my mom is coming to town today, so no matter what we do, it's surely going to be eventful. She is me, just 20 years older. (Scary, I know) She's great, we're just so similiar that we often butt heads. Hopefully we'll have a nice weekend. I made sure she has plenty of fresh towels, I blew up the AEROBED and put it in my spare room, and I washed all the sheets and dried them TWICE so that they were yummy!

I don't know what to do with her tonight. I'm thinking maybe swing by the new Arena bar, Metro, in Dallas. I hear that's where all of the cool people go. Ha. Any suggestions? Email me ... Amanda@985krz.com. Tomorrow is also the Ms. Mohegan Sun Pageant @ Pocono Downs, that should be fun! I haven't really been to or seen a pageant before. I think the closest most of us get to a pageant is our Senior Prom. That's pushing it too.
