I was sooo one of those pre-teens who ran home to watch TOTAL REQUEST LIVE with Carson Daly. It was my after school ritual. I'd even do my homework in front of the tv just so I could see the top 10 video and drool over the dreamy host. I remember being totally upset when they changed the name to TRL. So impersonal, but changing with the times. After high school... the show fell off my radar. It just wasn't important anymore... I actually didn't even think it was on anymore ... So I ask myself ... WHY IS IT SO UPSETTING THAT THEY ARE PULLING THE PLUG ON THE SHOW?
New broke yesterday that TRL will air its last episode in November. My heart sank. HOW SAD! What a past time. Was anyone still watching it? I'm slowly getting over it. DARN IT THOUGH, I never got a chance to go to Times Square and hold the sign outside their windows begging to come up to the studio! Hmm ... something to shoot for before November? Possibly. Who's with me?
