As part of The First Time Club, Jeff rode a horse at The Pocono Equestrian Center!
The Pocono Equestrian Center is a nonprofit all volunteer organization that
specializes in therapeutic riding for the special needs community. All
children and youth are welcome to enjoy these horses and social activities.
Activities include: Pony parties, horse drawn carriage for hire, therapeutic
riding, Adult, volunteer program, service learning, educational outreach and
school programs. Some horses have been donated to our programs and then
trained for this special and unique job as a 4 legged therapist.
It doesn't matter if you have never been on a horse before or just like
helping other kids; this is an organization that you want to get hooked up
with. They are always needing financial help to keep the horses is a costly
expense. Businesses can get involved by becoming a sponsor too.
